Job Title: Freight User Rep (Brokerage Systems)

Job Description: The main job responsibility is providing front line systems support to all US brokerage employees as it relates to the responsibilities outlined below. The Freight User Rep supports all brokerage sites mainly via a share point site and general phone support line. In addition to phone and email support, they work as liaisons with brokerage operations, BSI, and the Applications teams to communicate any systemic issues and resolutions. Freight User Reps need to be able to provide support for BOSS, BISI, ACE and AMS.


  • Use E2K, BDM, ISPSYS/OPSYS and BOSS to make data corrections.

  • Process shipments in Repair and Error queues (Pre-Rating, Account Info, Etc.)

  • Provide support for the freight network.

  • Management and Maintenance of BOSS ID’s and freight tables.

  • Run various ACE reports and coordinate ACE cancellations.

Required Skills:

  • Must have formal rating experience.

  • Candidatemust be team and goal-oriented, must display good communication skills (verbal and written) in order to act as a liaison between BSI, TSG, and Brokerage operations.

  • Must be capable of training and assisting users to correct common errors and advise of proper system usage.

  • Analyze and correct problems with BOSS, BDM, ACE, OPSYS, ISPSYS, BISI and BDIS.

  • Must display a strong working knowledge of BOSS, as well as, strong computer background.

  • Extensive knowledge of overall brokerage operations, including rating process, and workflows.

  • Proper phone etiquette a must.

  • Acceptable Attendance Record (less than 4 occurrences in 12 months).

  • Last ATPA must have an effective score.

Additional Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. Prefer individual with extensive knowledge of overall brokerage operations, including freight process, and workflows.

Interpersonal Skills: Candidate needs to be organized, detail-oriented, motivated, positive and persistent. Must be able to learn and work independently, as well as in a team setting. Excellent communication skills along with the ability to identify and resolve problems.
