UPS Payroll Union Rules Intern in Columbus, Ohio

Job Summary

Candidates for this internship must be a junior, senior or college graduate up to 24 months post-graduation pursuing a degree in Business Administration.

The intern will assist the Payroll team by developing/enhancing a rules matrix that translates all union payroll contracts to an understandable rules matrix format. The project will include the use of Microsoft Access and Excel and will involve interaction with the Payroll supervisor and manager.

Other Duties

  • Able to work closely with Payroll administrative staff to ensure accurate contract translation

  • Weekly updates on status of matrix in progress

  • Completion of union payroll rules matrix

Preferred Competencies

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to management

  • Detail oriented to ensure the matrix is completed correctly

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Access and Excel) - Preferred
