UPS Hazmat Auditor in Detroit, Michigan

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, proactive, customer-focused individual to handle all aspects of operations support related to UPS Procurement activities or supplier setup. The Purchasing Support Admin 7 is responsible for any of the following aspects related to vendor setup, vendor updates related to procuring goods and services for all UPS Business Units including:

  • Supplier Management

  • Contract Management

  • Catalog Management

Other Duties

  • Working Knowledge of Oracle GL, MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).

  • Excellent Communication skills including written, verbal, and telephone.

  • Responsible for updating Ariba and Oracle Supplier catalogs and items

  • Work closely with Procurement Commodity Manager to assist in oversight of the supplier processes.

  • Will be expected to attend supplier conference calls and work with all levels of management with UPS

  • Provide daily support to customers and FSC Purchasing Department

  • Responsible for updating Ariba and Oracle Supplier catalogs, items

  • Work closely with Procurement Commodity Manager to assist in oversight of the supplier processes

  • Will be required to speak with suppliers for needed information

  • All other task as assigned by supervisor and or manager

  • Basic knowledge of (Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook)

  • Knowledge of Ariba

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma

  • Some College preferred

  • Experience in Oracle preferred
