UPS Hazmat Auditor in Detroit, Michigan
We are looking for an energetic, proactive, customer-focused individual to handle all aspects of operations support related to UPS Procurement activities or supplier setup. The Purchasing Support Admin 7 is responsible for any of the following aspects related to vendor setup, vendor updates related to procuring goods and services for all UPS Business Units including:
Working Knowledge of Oracle GL, MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Excellent Communication skills including written, verbal, and telephone.
Responsible for updating Ariba and Oracle Supplier catalogs and items
Work closely with Procurement Commodity Manager to assist in oversight of the supplier processes.
Will be expected to attend supplier conference calls and work with all levels of management with UPS
Provide daily support to customers and FSC Purchasing Department
Responsible for updating Ariba and Oracle Supplier catalogs, items
Work closely with Procurement Commodity Manager to assist in oversight of the supplier processes
Will be required to speak with suppliers for needed information
All other task as assigned by supervisor and or manager
Analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Basic knowledge of (Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Knowledge of Ariba
High School Diploma
Some College preferred
Experience in Oracle preferred
