UPS Business Development Administrative Assistant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania


A The ASM Administrative Assistant supports the Area Sales Manager with routine reports, weekly updates, and completes other tasks required to administratively assist District Sales Operations Team within Business Development. They are responsible for tracking Director of Sales Balanced Scorecard Elements and including but not limited to back office support, performance presentations, and general sales resource assistance. Prior Business Development experience preferred.


  • Preparation/compilation of reports using various software packages and UPS applications

  • Gathering information and be able to prepare complex reports and run analysis

  • Conduct sales performance monitoring using various marketing tools

  • Managing customer recognition usage

  • Schedule group meetings

  • Gather and consolidate information for Corporate and Regional requests

  • Follow-up on International holds

  • Inform ASM of key meetings/dates

  • Organize DBR reports and GEMS key entries

  • Be a central support person for outside of group contacts, bid reconciliation, etc.

  • Occasionally be required to call customers

  • Works in TEAMS, CVBAT, Sales Funnel and Siebel


  • Proficient in Siebel/Data Warehouse Queries

  • Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access

  • Must be able to work with little supervision and be able to multi-task

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
