The Customer Relations (CR) group showcases UPS capabilities to a variety of key decision-makers that visit Louisville-based operations. CR hosts gov’t officials, media, investors, UPS corporate training schools and revenue customers. These revenue customers travel to Louisville with the UPS Global Sales Team during key points in the sales cycle. CR facilitates operational site visits that focus on UPS Small Package, Freight and Global Operation Center capabilities.
As an ambassador for UPS, the applicant will host internal / external stakeholders that are typically revenue customers and oftentimes high-level executives. Nightly presentations are conducted to a wide-ranging audience from a variety of cultures. Must demonstrate highly professional facilitation skills, in-depth knowledge of UPS operations, services and customer-facing technology solutions.
Guides facility visits (e.g. on or offsite meeting agenda and objectives, guest speakers, security, transportation, etc.). Collaborates with UPS Business Development to create a strategy that leverages operational and enterprise excellence. Stays in-tune with industry (e.g. Healthcare, High-Tech, Retail, etc) trends to develop innovative ideas and solutions. Builds relationships with internal subject matter experts, providing a team selling environment that augments the customer sales cycle.
Must be comfortable speaking to large groups and detail oriented. Worldport operations experience preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Bachelor degree preferred (Marketing, Communications, Business degrees are preferred).
Basic Microsoft skills that should include: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Candidates chosen for interviews will be asked to conduct a short presentation on the topic of their choice.
