The Advertising Specialist is responsible supporting all marketing programs and initiatives related to UPS Store domestic franchise sales and development. He/She assists in development and delivery of print, digital, social media, video, and radio marketing and advertising. This position supports the Corporate Retail Solutions department by assisting to create and develop marketing efforts aimed at increasing awareness and utilization of the B2B partnerships programs. He/She monitors marketing and advertising budget expenditures, reconciles invoices, and provides routine reporting to achieve the overall mission of the department.

This position assists in updating, promoting, and maintenance of the Franchise Sales and Development website and team to enhance the prospective franchisee digital experience using the various digital channels (web, social, portal) while seeking to connect, engage with, inform, and influence prospects. The Advertising Specialist supports the AOR team with administrative and ongoing support for digital properties, including, but not limited to, the franchise website, lead generation portals, and social channels. This position supports the Franchise Sales & Development department to maximize all marketing and advertising opportunities aimed at increasing visibility of the franchise opportunity.

Other Duties

  • Serves as a marketing liaison to Corporate Retail Solutions B2B partnerships, maintaining and growing the relationships by providing comprehensive marketing support.

  • Evaluates ongoing marketing and advertising campaigns to ensure KPI’s are met in our B2B partnership channels and where needed, adjust initiatives to strengthen customer satisfaction.

  • Creates and distributes time-critical sale reports and requests to the appropriate team members.

  • Evaluates internal processes and procedures, and forms documents to suggest appropriate resolution to improve simplicity and efficiency.

  • Creates and disseminates weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports summarizing lead generation efforts, effectiveness, and results.

  • Assists, coordinates, and executes marketing deliverables (e.g., collateral development, replenishing inventory, shipping promotional items, etc.) to Corporate Retail Solutions B2B partnership trade shows.

  • Report Generation: Possesses ability to generate simple reports using basic functions in software, and/or writing basic queries; identifies information required to complete reports and identifies existing reports generated by others.

  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Identifies internal customers’ needs and vendors to meet those needs; determines costs and benefits to UPS for vendors’ products, commodities, or services; creates bid proposals for vendor solicitation; analyzes vendor responses and develops recommendations for award.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Advertising, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline – Preferred
