As a Regional Human Resources (HR) Manager, you will provide consultative guidance and tactical execution in key HR areas such as Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Career Development, Employee Relations and Labour Relations

Reporting to the UK HR Operations Manager and managing a team of Recruitment and HR Professionals within the East Region, this varied and challenging role requires an experienced Human Resources Manager to manage all HR responsibilities within a number of UPS Centres across the Region.

Travel within the East Region as well as occasional travel to other UK locations will be required and a flexible approach to working hours, as UPS operates a 24-hour operation in some locations.

With responsibility for locations in Barking, Dartford, Stanford Le Hope, Croydon, Gatwick, Newhaven, Chelmsford, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, the base location for this role is Dartford or Barking.

Essential Functions:

· Manage candidate sourcing and workforce planning process to ensure positions are filled promptly with high calibre candidates

· Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation

· Provide consultative guidance to management to develop resolution strategies for employee issues and concerns

· Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations

· Management of long term absence including employee welfare and support

· Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements relating to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

· Champion and develop implementation plans to ensure successful execution of HR initiatives

· Analyse trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs

Key Skills and Experience:

· Excellent communication skills

· Exemplary administrative/planning and organisational ability

· Flexible, friendly attitude required

· Able to work in a fast paced, time specific and targeted environment

· CIPD qualification preferred but not essential

· Driving licence
