Position Summary:

We currently have a Full Time vacancy within the HR function, providing full employee relations support and recruitment services to our new London Hub / Package Centre based in Stanford-le-Hope. The position will be based out of Barking until the new facility is operational later this year.

Working as part of a small Workforce Planning Team, you will provide employee relations advice, guidance and support. This will also include delivery of training for Technical, Specialist and management employees. Recruitment consists of sourcing and delivering staffing plans for all relevant areas from drivers and warehouse, to clerical and BD. You may be required from time to time to provide support at other relevant locations within the South.

Responsibilities include liaising with line management and employees on the full range of Employee Relations. This requires strong decision making, attention to detail and consistency . You must be self-motivated, have a strong emphasis on problem solving and an ability to resolve conflict or create solutions. You will also be expected to share fully in the Team’s recruitment activities as required. Whilst training will be provided it is important that you have a willingness to self-develop and maintain your knowledge to stay current with changes to employment law and regulations.

  • CIPD qualification preferred but not essential
