Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for the complete territory management of a designated postcode specific territory for sourcing prospective business through to closing the sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make sales calls to existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and to investigate / identify further business opportunities

  • Make sales calls to prospective customers to introduce the company and its services in order to gain new business

  • Ensure that customers actual volume and revenue is similar to original expectations and investigate reasons and take corrective action for any discrepancies

  • Complete all necessary documentation to ensure that rates agreed with the customer are communicated to accounts department

  • Ensure the centre staff are fully aware of any non standard requirements agreed with the customer

  • Complete all reporting procedures as required by the country BD manager

  • Achieve all targets as set down by the BD manager

  • Prepare and present projects at sales meetings and other meetings as required

  • Manage a portfolio of between 500 to 700 existing customers

  • Work with Field Sales Executives and other internal functions to assist in retention and growth of new and existing accounts

  • Work alongside centre managers and drivers to ensure customers operational requirements are being met

  • Promote the UPS corporate image

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills

  • Competent in Microsoft office applications

  • Minimum 1 year experience within a call centre, preferably in an outbound setting

  • Customer service and quality orientated

  • Self motivated and able to work on own initiative

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a target driven environment

  • Ability to work within a team
