Preferred Customer Associate (Customer Services) BASED LEIGHTON BUZZARD

£16,282 PER ANNUM

The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. As a Preferred Customer Associate working within the Customer Services Department, you’ll deal directly with customers either by phone or email providing pricing and delivery information. You’ll respond promptly to all customer enquiries and process orders and invoicing. Starting between 0800 and 0900 hours, you’ll work 40 hours per week and must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours as and when required to meet our service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer and client delivery requirements are met

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal Polar Speed departments

  • Daily telephone and email contact with customers and clients providing pricing and delivery information

  • Administration of order processing and invoicing

  • To ensure clients requirements are met

  • To raise any serious issue to the Team Leader where necessary

  • Ensuring smooth running of departmental systems and processes

Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service driven organisation advantageous

  • Strong social and interpersonal skills when dealing with internal/external contacts

  • Good listening skills, tactful and courteous

  • Being able to handle stressful situations

  • Being able to work on own initiative

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with customers/clients, whilst appreciating the need for maintaining confidentiality

  • Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise

  • Good team player and able to work on your initiative

  • Good working knowledge of IT packages e.g. Word and Excel

  • Experience of using SAGE advantageous
