UPS Marketing Specialist in Alpharetta, Georgia

Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing the My Choice Affiliate Marketing program. This includes managing a team of designers, maintaining relationships with affiliate partners and communicating with stakeholders.

This role supports the marketing function by developing/compiling standard and ad-hoc marketing reports. The incumbent integrates marketing data and information from multiple sources to produce reports and support the marketing of UPS products/services including sales support, product management and resource management.


  • Manages contracted web designers for the UPS Affiliate Marketing program

  • Maintains relationships with the affiliate partners such as Rakuten, Commission Junction (CJ), and ShopSmarter

  • Communicates directly with sales and customers (shippers) interested in UPS Affiliate Marketing

  • Creates and disseminates weekly reporting for the UPS Affiliate Marketing program

  • Summarizes and communicates results/implications to initiators of requests

  • Compiles and updates information in standard reports for timely distribution to stakeholders

  • Gathers data required to respond to ad-hoc requests

  • Builds databases to manage data for new reports

  • Documents queries used to build reports to ensure reliability

  • Interacts with data providers regarding source data to ensure quality and efficiency of processing

  • Presents report findings internally to keep workgroups informed and up to date


  • Supports sales with questions regarding processes, contracts, tools and resources

  • Works with cross-functional teams to support, manage, improve product portfolio and processes

  • Maintains, updates, enhances the resources and information available on Seismic, and product knowledge base

  • Utilizes computer-based analytical and information management tools to perform routine analysis; documents approach/findings and reviews results with others

  • Identifies key factors behind basic problems and proposes approaches to resolve them; investigates and diagnoses anomalies in routine business results

  • Conducts customer business process analysis and is familiar with the primary customer business processes in which UPS solutions are most frequently applied (e.g., order management, shipping, receiving, returns, accounts receivable and accounts payable)

  • Possesses knowledge of Data Models

  • Proficient with Structured Query Knowledge (SQL), Data Warehouse (DWH), Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Analytics
