Job Description:

Job Summary

This position is part of Global Security threat response group focused on identifying, analyzing, investigating, and disseminating information to security teams within the UPS enterprise. He/She assists with the creation and distribution of information products enabling stakeholders to appropriately respond to emerging risks and threats. This position develops and maintains appropriate internal and external global contacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages information distribution to enable proactive measures addressing emerging threats or industry concerns.

  • Assists with database maintenance to ensure information accuracy.

  • Researches data and gather facts about significant security developments to ensure UPS personnel have the information needed to respond to incidents appropriately.

  • Analyzes and creates technical written documents summarizing security intelligence.

  • Gathers data from social media and other open sources to help determine the strategic direction for communications to maintain the company’s positive public image.

  • Monitors multiple social media platforms to identify possible threats or other security concerns that could affect the company

  • Conducts presentations describing security concerns or topics of interest with a variety of UPS management personnel and/or government regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and multiple open source social networking platforms

  • Proficient written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to pass a government background check in order to maintain a national security clearance at the secret level
