Job Description:

The Business Information & Analysis Manager is responsible for leading the analysis and design of quality FP&A solutions. He/She is involved in full systems life cycle management, including analyses, business requirements, design, testing, and implementation of systems and applications software. He/She develops and executes on project plans and collaborates with teams to leverage emerging technologies. This position is responsible for the work of others, resource allocations, and decision-making affecting the success of assigned projects (i.e., results, deadlines, and budget). The Business Information & Analysis Manager understands and applies financial planning insights to develop and rationalize business requirements to drive optimal technology solutions. This position advises and influences application development to drive business information through technology, enabling key business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops relationships and collaborates with key business partners to understand their operational and business needs.

  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Facilitates change to financial processes, planning, systems, reports and analysis.

  • Acts as the liaison between the FP&A and the application development teams to enable change.

  • Performs and supports ad hoc analysis, modeling, and projects as needed.

  • Strives to continually improve existing processes and challenge the status quo.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Advanced degree

  • 5+ years' experience in FP&A

  • Ability to work alone with minimum supervision and with others in a team environment, occasionally under time pressure and on several tasks at the same time.

  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, management team, other departments.

  • Strong working knowledge of financial statements.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Collaborative teammate and ability to take ownership of tasks/projects.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Understanding of financial tools, data technologies, and data strategy.

  • Experience with OneStream/CPM tools, SQL and Power BI a plus.
