UPS Digital Asset Management Supervisor in Atlanta, Georgia

Digital technology is entering an exciting and transformative stage at UPS. With the implementation of a new industry-leading Digital Asset Management system, this platform is now a critical component of the overall UPS digital infrastructure. As the enterprise wide central repository, the system provides users around the world access to UPS approved digital assets optimizing our ability to collaborate, integrate, and effectively utilize valuable brand investments.

The Digital Asset Management Supervisor serves as the primary contact for the Digital Asset Management platform, experienced in metadata, taxonomy structure, upload and organization of assets, training and troubleshooting system problems. With a solid knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS), and Digital Rights Management (DRM), the Digital Asset Management Supervisor is able to identify and triage issues with IT partners. Working with cross-functional teams, agencies and vendor partners, the Digital Asset Management Supervisor functions in a customer service role governing brand standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintains and develops Digital Asset Management system

  • Manages system defects, triage and resolution

  • Manages access control lists, user groups and permissions

  • Tracks and reports monthly system metrics

  • Conducts system training

  • Supports taxonomy and metadata management strategies

  • Develops communication emails/blog for users

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree)

  • Previous experience managing employees

  • Ability to identify and triage technical issues with IT and support vendors

  • Well organized, with strong project management skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of internal stakeholders

  • 3+ years of web-based Digital Asset Management, Content Management System or related technology experience - Preferred

  • Solid technical ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics or other analytics tool, HTML/CSS, JIRA or other project management tool, SEO Implementation, and Basecamp - Preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or Library Science background - Preferred
