UPS Marketing eCommerce Strategy Senior Analyst - Flex in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Summary

This position is within an innovative group inside UPS Marketing that drives substantial top-line growth by forming strategic partnerships with major ecommerce platforms to provide best-in-class experiences to small businesses and their consumers globally.

This team leads the creation of new pioneering offerings that uniquely position UPS in this market, and the Sr. Analyst would be a key supporter and driver of these initiatives. This role will identify unique opportunities to improve the experience of our partners, merchants and end consumers through product innovation, process re-imagination, and identifying the next strategic areas for growth.

This role would be responsible for supporting the development and management of these projects by collaborating with internal stakeholders, performing analyses to develop and evaluate the strategy, and developing methods to track and communicate the results of these efforts. The candidate would assist in identifying the best approach to gather information and solve business issues and may work with marketing research and conduct partner interviews to understand needs. This position uses in-house reporting tools/secondary data sources to gather data for analyses and decision-making and summarizes and communicates results of analyses to key stakeholders throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers data and performs analyses necessary to develop and evaluate strategy

  • Consults with internal subject matter experts to assist in identifying the best approach to gathering information and solving business issues

  • Conducts external analysis to help develop a current and future view of markets

  • Summarizes and communicates to key stakeholders throughout the organization

  • Employs strong project management skills involving multiple work streams with high attention to detail

  • Builds relationships cross functionally internally and externally to drive project execution

Preferences

  • Demonstrates strong communication (written/verbal) skills

  • Possesses ability to manage multiple complex work streams with tight deadlines and project Management skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel and PowerPoint) and other data analysis tools

  • Understands commonly used digital technologies (ex. APIs)

  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or Technology related fields

  • MBA
