UPS Vice President of HR Service Delivery in Atlanta, Georgia

The UPS Human Resource function is undergoing a global operating model transformation. Reporting to the CHRO, the HR Transformation team will collaborate internally with our business partners, to include; HR Operations, Global Business Services (GBS), Technology and our Enterprise Transformation team to implement a multi-year strategic initiative that positions the function’s focus on the strategic talent needs of the organization through consolidating program administration, re-designing global processes and modernizing our Human Capital Technologies.

The Vice President of HR Service Delivery will report to the HR Transformation Program Lead, and must exhibit strong and proactive business leadership with a transformational mindset with deep experience in building and expanding global delivery centers for multi-disciplinary HR services, and possesses excellent strategic thinking, service expansion/innovation expertise, and change management skills to enable the modernized employee experience for UPS. He/She will champion end-to-end process optimization, integrate HR processes into a global operational network, empower service providers, and establish accountability across the organization. As a result, this role will deliver the transformative performance improvements, consistent levels of service that meet or exceed requirements, and cost savings specified in the business cases. Once fully implemented, the VP will manage and lead all captive and outsourced Recruit to Retire services, including HRIS, Learning and Performance Management, People Analytics, Talent Acquisition, Time & Payroll Services, Total Rewards Administration, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Works within the HR Transformation team to implement its 2020 strategic vision for HR Service Delivery

  • Collaborates with GBS and other business partners while balancing corporate goals and being flexible to accommodate changing business needs

  • Supports all HR service delivery, customer experience, and performance SLAs

  • Cultivates, maintains, and enhances effective relationships within the HR function and business units to understand current and future business needs

  • Fosters “customer service/employee experience” focus and culture throughout the HR Services Delivery organization and serves as a change leader

  • Manages team of service delivery professionals, sets goals and evaluates performance and competency development

  • Works within the HR Transformation team to operationalize the New Operating Model Strategy

  • Cultivates and maintains relationships

  • Enables a value-driven and consistent culture across the HR Service Delivery organization

  • Ensures the compliance and accuracy of all HR Service Delivery work

  • Coaches and motivates diverse and highly skilled team members to optimize team effectiveness and enhance team interactions

  • Advanced knowledge and use of office productivity tools (MS Office, Skype, Zoom, email, etc.)

  • Must be available for extensive global travel

  • Master's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
