Job Title: Overgoods Clerk
Day: Mon - Fri Hours Per Week: 20-25
Work Environment: Hub environment focused on customer concerns and shipping inquiries. Communicate with both internal and external customers via telephone. Employees are trained to be organized and successful in dealing with customer complaints. Teamwork and communication is essential in departmental success. Employees will work with management team and co-workers to achieve goals.
Job Summary: Employee will inventory, verify and process overgoods generated from the UPS shipments. They will conduct search and inquiries on customer shipments. Key focus is to provide quality customer service while exuding a positive attitude.
Job Description: Employees are responsible for researching and processing overgoods. Employees complete required paperwork and use computer programs to make informational entries. Searches are completed to match customer merchandise and shipments. Employees will be assigned daily reports to analyze and distribute. Scheduled work hours but may be offered additional time to cover other employees or meet sort needs. Employee will be asked to regularly lift up to and exceeding 70lbs on a daily basis
Required Skills: Professional phone etiquette a must. Possess good problem solving skills and be detailed oriented. Writing must be neat and organized. Must have organizational skills and be able to multitask.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a hub environment with employees who posses the desire to achieve goals and acquire knowledge. Position suitable for a motivated self directed individual.
