UPS UPS Capital Regional Sales Manager in Cheung Sha Wan, Hong Kong
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for the execution of the sales plan while ensuring profitable revenue for the business unit. He/she coaches, trains, and develops the Sales team (e.g.: BDO, Sales Reps) on sales and strategy techniques with a focus on execution.
Governs Business Development
Directs the sales team on effectively maximizing account penetrations and conversions, UPS Capital product offerings, business acumen, and account management techniques to increase UPSC profitability.
Executes sales direction and strategy to the sales team to promote information sharing on customer accounts, industry trends, and competitive environment.
Shares feedback on market issues with senior management to establish local BD initiatives.
Facilitates, plans, and executes quarterly meetings and weekly communications to ensure an informed sales team.
Stays Current with UPS's and Competitor Products and Services
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of UPS’s products and services to provide accurate information to Inside Sales Representatives and Supervisors when answering questions and training.
Examines customer shipping data across territories to identify changes in competitor strategies, capabilities, and pricing patterns and communicate these trends to upper management.
Provides Internal/External UPSC Sales Customer Support
Facilitates training of the sales team on new products, sales campaigns, and strategic products or rates to share information on sales solutions and best practices.
Shares customer problems with operations and customer services teams to provide awareness on recurring customer issues.
Manages and communicates sales strategy initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Manages performance measurement tools to determine the achievement of sales goals.
Manages and Develops Others
Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day to day administration of processes and formal procedures.
Identifies individual and team skill gaps and developmental opportunities (e.g., training, special assignments, conferences, projects, etc.) to facilitate individual and team development.
Coaches others and provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
Education & Qualification
Degree holder, with knowledges in insurance, logistics, jewelry and/or sales and marketing will be an advantage
10 years working experience within the logistics, Insurance or relevant industry and at least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience is a must
Aggressive, independent, self-motivated and a self-starter
Good interpersonal and managerial skill and team collaboration
Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese including Mandarin
Candidate with more experiences and good people management skill will be considered as Senior Account Manager
