UPS Regional Hub/Dispatch Sr Associate in Dallas, Texas
UPS Cartage Services Inc. is currently seeking a Regional Hub/Dispatch Sr. Associate to track and trace customer information and provide problem resolution. If you're looking for an exciting career opportunity, we want to hear from you!
The ideal Regional Hub/Dispatch Sr. Associate will have a minimum of one year customer service experience working in a fast-paced inbound/outbound air freight and cargo environment. He/She will also have strong analytical, oral and written communication, customer service, and time management skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensures timely departures of loads, proper load manifests, updates in E2K, records carrier driver logs, and maintains and updates complex operations reports
Confers with management when carrier concerns arise and may assists vendors in securing additional space or loads (coordinates FTL and LTL pickups and or deliveries)
Ensure trucks meet DOT weight requirements
Updates security reports, and provides downline service centers with shipment activity updates
Reviews inbound freight to identity HVHR shipments
Obtain Dangerous Goods Certification - DOT
Knowledge and Skills
Minimum of one year customer service experience
Effective problem solver with root cause analysis skills
Expertise in HUB warehouse activity and freight routing, or ability to acquire desired knowledge
Effective communication skills both oral and written
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Strong administrative skills
Detail oriented and organized
Multitasker with ability to work in a team environment or independently
Proficient key entry skills and thorough knowledge of HUB warehouse volume flow
Proficient with Master Bill and E2K
General knowledge of DOT Hours of Service - Preferred
