Account Executive – UPS Global Freight Forwarding

As an Account Executive (AE) at UPS you’re responsible for achieving the assigned sales plan. You’ll analyze customers’ current supply chain needs to create appropriate solutions. This involves strategy sessions with your Area Sales Manager (ASM), sales team colleagues and networking with decision makers. Are you ready to take on this challenge?
What you’ll do
As an Account Executive you’ll have a wide range of tasks. For example, you’ll build successful partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels of customers’ organizations to cultivate relationships and generate revenue opportunities across all FF products and service lines. You’ll also present solutions to customers to gain approval of proposals and move forward the sales process. Another important task is to sell technology solutions (Flex Global View) to customers to secure their business, provide added values to proposals and satisfy business needs. You also work accurately on the book of business (e.g., air, ocean, brokerage, ground, etc.) to grow and execute against the business plan.

What you’ll need
A Bachelor’s Degree.
Sales and/or customer service experience in Freight Forwarding.
Knowledge of the Dutch, English and French language, both oral and in writing.
A pro-active, sales driven and positive mindset.
Punctuality and the ability to understand the bigger picture: you’re able to build bridges to all departments in order to strengthen the cooperation.
