UPS Full-time Technical Support Technician in Lachine, Canada

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing remote support for external client systems and applications

  • Routine support for internal UPS systems and applications

  • Software installations and program updates

  • Compiling data for surveys

  • Maintenance and basic network administration for UPSnet, sites, minicomputers, Local and Wide Area Networks, Intranet, etc

  • Telecom Support – Wireless, PBX, Avaya

  • Routine customer support for EDI

  • Availability to work flexible hours

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual English and French

  • Knowledge of PC hardware, software, networking and operating systems

  • Technical school diploma, collegial level diploma or equivalent

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 1 year technical experience

  • 1 year customer service experience
