Job Title: 1DA Flight Control Support Admin
Department: Flight Administration - ASC – Bldg. #2 – 911 Grade Lane
Days: Monday – Friday Hours: 11:30pm – 4:30am Hours per Week: 30
Office environment with repetitive tasks. Will be working directly with crewmembers. The dress code for the office is casual. Jeans are acceptable. Working with several other administrative employees on a nightly basis. Team interaction but must work productively and effectively as individual.
Position requires working with UPS Dispatchers (via phone) and Flight Crew Members. The primary responsibility is assembling the required flight paperwork for flights departing SDF and providing the flight paperwork to the correct flight crew. Coverage for other office personnel is required when needed. Learning the basics of other jobs within the department will be required.
This position is responsible for providing paperwork (produced by UPS Flight Dispatchers) to UPS Flight Crewmembers for flights departing SDF. The short operational window involved with producing and distributing this paperwork makes this position fast paced and requires a significant attention to detail. Paperwork is sent via multiple printers for distribution. Also, responsible for booking Jumpseats and printing boarding passes. Some faxing may be required.
Ability to work within time constraints and to work independently.
Good communication, phone etiquette, and organizational skills a must.
Good attendance record/dependability a must.
Must be flexible with work schedule to shift workdays and hours for vacation/operations needs to potentially include additional hours and non-scheduled days with advance notice.
CMS, Compass and Netline would be an asset.
General aviation knowledge a plus.
The ability to learn other jobs within the department is required.
