Work Environment: This is a 7X24 warehouse/hangar operation supporting the global tooling demands for aircraft maintenance.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for providing support for the Central Tooling department management and Business Professional team, as well as supporting a multiple of internal and external customers. The position performs multiple tasks with multiple customers on any given day. Position is a grade 7 with progression to a grade 8.
Job Description: The position requires multitasking; while maintaining a positive attitude and influence within the department. The position has continual communications with internal and external customers throughout the workday. The position requires coordination with peers, management team and may require various levels of detail depending on the request. Each request is unique and requires the Tooling Admin to review and coordinate the best possible solution, often with minimal supervision. A typical requisition would require the Tooling Admin to search current inventory locations, source items with vendors or airlines, and seek solutions in the local area of the event. Each requisition may require a different solution and coordination with multiple internal and external groups. The Tooling Admin with interact with such groups as Line MX, Heavy MX, Engineering, Maintenance Control, and Finance and Accounting.
Required Skills: Strong intellect, aptitude, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple activities, people skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills: Previous knowledge of aircraft materials and/or maintenance, engineering or support functions.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to work within a team and be accountable for quality results. This environment requires close communication and interaction at various levels within the organization.
