Job Title: Quality Assurance Programming Intern
Department: Flight Standards Quality Assurance
Assist with identifying opportunities for automation and implementing programming solutions to maximize the efficiency of current manual entries and quality assurance reports. Will also perform general office duties. The hours are primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of confidentiality and information security
Experience with Access Database Development
Basic process improvement acumen and understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance assurance
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), or Higher (CFII or MEI)
500 hours of total time or higher, lower times will be considered with CFI, CFII, or MEI
Have experience with different hardware platforms and software
Volunteer on a regular basis
FAA Part141 flight school training or Part 61 flight school training is acceptable
Location: Flight Training Center, Louisville, KY
Currently hold Commercial/Multi-engine Instrument Pilot License
Junior or Senior in an undergraduate Aviation or Business program, or recent graduate up to 2 years post-graduate with 4 year Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Business, or enrolled in a Master Aviation or Business degree program.
3.0 GPA or higher
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
