UPS GBS ISRG Administrative Assistant in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Summary

This position works diligently with centers, customer service, business development and destination countries to seek problem resolution on international shipments. The incumbent is responsible for education and explanation of UPS’s services, procedures and policies. This role works with other representatives and management to perform audits, take escalated calls from customers, communicate coverage concerns to supervisors and provide training for new hire employees/re-current training for employees. Confidentiality is required.


  • Receives escalated calls from customers and works with other representatives and management to resolve issues

  • Educates both internal/external customers about UPS services, procedures and policies

  • Performs audits and prepares reports

  • Provides recurrent training for current employees and orientation/training for new hires

  • Communicates coverage concerns to management

  • Provides excellent customer service


  • Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills, to include decision making and multitasking

  • Displays ability to work productively in a fast-paced team environment

  • Possesses excellent organizational skills

  • Demonstrates acceptable attendance and performance record

  • Displays flexibility to help cover the operation when needed

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience using Access and PowerPoint
