Work Environment: Hub and Office environment.

Job Summary: Acceptance auditors are responsible for auditing Haz-Mat packages for compliance guidelines. Office Administrative Assistants are responsible for dispatching Haz Mat calls, updating and maintaining reports, and assists supervisors with tasks.

Job Description: Acceptance auditors are dispatched to questionable hazardous materials packages to check, correct, and/or hold these packages as required. They also perform audits on various areas of facility. Auditors work through a large majority of the hub and operations independently, for this reason, being able to work with minimal supervision is a requirement. The Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining various reports, dispatching of Haz-Mat calls, assisting supervisors with tasks, and assisting customers. Position will require training in both responsibilities. Good phone etiquette is a must when dealing with all calls.

Required Skills: Basic computer skills (typing, Excel, Word). Professional phone etiquette. Valid driver's license. Must be a quick learner and must have strong organizational skills. Detail oriented that works well with others, as well as working with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills: ETT knowledge helpful. Ramp experience is useful. Be willing to accept change.

Interpersonal Skills: Must be a team player with excellent customer service skills (customer focused). Multi-tasking and organization is necessary. Needs to be a quick learner and work well in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-directed individual that can handle stressful situations.

Additional Notes: May need to start earlier/stay later as needed and based on hub start times. Job is a grade 6 with a possible progression to a grade 7.
