Job Description:

As a Driver Trainer we ask you to keep many balls in the air at the same time. You guide the Package Drivers in your team, while maintaining and preferably even improving quality and productivity! Together with your team and center management, you ensure that the on-road process runs smoothly. We are looking for someone with discipline, skills and a winning mentality.

What does your day look like?

• Before the on-road process starts, you meet with the other Driver Trainers in the morning to discuss, among other things, the productivity of the previous day. Together we look at what can be improved and how we can achieve this;

• Then the dispatch starts. With the support of your team, you ensure that all packages are delivered that day;

• Depending on the day, you will then coach, train or follow up with a Package Driver. On busy days you will drive your own route in consultation;

• Many other activities will take place during the day. This way you have contact with sick employees and you will have to keep the necessary administration.

• We are looking for a motivated team player who wants to give 100%; • You guarantee the quality and productivity of your group; • Coaching, training and guiding colleagues requires social skills. It is therefore important for this position that you have strong social skills; • As you can read above, as a Driver Trainer you are responsible for many different tasks, it is important that you can plan this well. However, UPS remains a logistics company that requires flexibility.
