F&A Systems Specialist
Knowledge Mandatory but not experience required in coding language: VB.Net, SQL, C# , or similar (Java, TypeScript, Kotlin, F#, Delphi, PowerShell)
Location: Medellin (Hybrid model)
Grade: 10D
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Finance and Accounting Systems (F&A) Specialist provides daily support and maintenance of the F&A systems including Oracle Fusion Cloud, Longview, OneStream and Financial Data Mart environments . He/She supports UPS users globally and serves as liaison between users, technical support teams, and developers for system enhancements and production issues. The F&A Systems Specialist is also heavily involved in testing, investigations and gathering user requirements. This position has no direct reports.
The F&A Systems Specialist also adheres to policies and procedures regarding administration of the application, including assisting with audits. He/She communicates with users and recreates issues in a test environment to obtain detailed results.
Responsibilities and Duties
Uses technical skills to troubleshoot defects and perform data mining exercises.
Tests resolutions in a user acceptance testing environment to determine accuracy and validity
Analyzes records by performing regression testing and reconciliations
Gathers and documents business and functional requirements; Reviews and analyzes to determine validity and feasibility
Documents and communicates the business process and system impacts changes resulting from system enhancements
Analyzes and monitors user acceptance testing results to ensure testing objectives are met
Records testing defects and coordinates with users and developers to resolve issues
Provides internal customer systems support

Captures/documents specific and accurate information; learns subjects thoroughly and in detail; completes work with thoroughness; supplies appropriate details when requested; maintains organized files; works well in a team environment.
Technical aptitude to quickly learn internal and external systems
Demonstrates a general understanding of technology used by the company; communicates basic technological concepts and terminology ; applies standard technology in daily work - Mandatory
High Fluent in English both written and spoken – Mandatory (Proficiency Conversational English)
Knowledge in coding language: VB.Net, SQL, C# , or similar (Java, TypeScript, Kotlin, F#, Delphi, PowerShell) - Mandatory
Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in: Finance, Accounting, Accounting Systems, Computer Science, Mgmt Information Systems or related field - Preferred
