About this role:

The Quality Assurance Analyst executes Information Technology (I.T.) Quality Assurance (QA) processes with moderate guidance. In this role, you will identify problems, generate alternatives, and recommend solutions within defined processes. You will also document the progress of assigned tasks to ensure objectives are met. You must collaborate effectively with QA team members, application developers, software vendors, consultants, user communities, and test environment technical support staff in the execution of testing procedures. As well, you will support testing efforts of small to medium complexity and must be knowledgeable of the key processes and technology within the business functions you will support.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be part of the Global Automation & Scanning Technology QA Team responsible for all QA activities. He/She should have strong QA skills including script automation using automation tools (UFT and Selenium), Quality Center, Defect Management (TFS), performance testing (JMeter and LoadRunner), Mobile Testing/Automation (Appium).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with analyzation and problem solving

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Organized with strong attention to detail

  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

  • Intermediate ability in Script Automation

  • Should have working knowledge of Agile and DevOps environments.

Advanced-level proficiency with:

  • HP Quality Center

  • Requirements Analysis

Intermediate-level proficiency with:

  • HP Unified Funtional Testing

  • Selenium

  • Agile and Scrum Concepts

  • HP Loadrunner

  • JMeter

  • SQL Language

  • User Stories

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
