JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Health and Safety Representative

Department: Health and Safety

Job Summary: Responsibilities include preparation of complex reports and analysis, using a variety of software packages. Close involvement in preparing and coordinating information for the management teams in the Air District. May exercise latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Will provide support for the operation.

Job Description: The areas of responsibility will include generating reports to track safety related trends, developing queries and creating presentations. The representative will conduct safety training and work directly with CHSP committees.

Required Skills: Must be organized and able to take initiative. Must display a helpful willingness and supportive attitude to all internal and external customers. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Ad ditional Skills: Working knowledge of SHRMIS and OSHA recordkeeping compliance. Previous WFF, HUB, or HR experience.

Interpersonal Skills: Effective communicator, cordial and dependable attitude. Able to work independently or as a team player. Capable of handling multiple tasks throughout the day. Must possess excellent written/oral communications skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems. Positive, enthusiastic and persistent. Maintain confidentiality and integrity as a core value.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
