UPS PT DAY AOT RADIO ROOM in Rockford, Illinois

The Radio Room Admin works in an office environment. He/She is responsible for distributing and tracking all radios and scanners given out to staff members. Also responsible for validating users and equipment status whether functional or nonfunctional. Admin is responsible for ensuring all equipment is distributed and associated to the correct individuals. The admin will ensure that all equipment is checked back in. Will ensure the security of all equipment during the shift and will report any security concerns. Will take all call in calls during shift and keep management informed. Will keep secured area neat and clean to prevent damage to equipment.

Required Skills:

  • Microsoft Office-Excel, Word and Outlook and be computer literate.

  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbal.

  • Will need to be able to deal with a multitude of individuals waiting on equipment and work quickly and efficiently to supply items needed for the day's sort.

Interpersonal Skills:

Must have the ability to interact effectively with other departments and employees Must be positive, have professional office etiquette, be dependable and have a high level of integrity working in a secure room.
