UPS Strategic Account Manager in Roermond, Netherlands
We are looking for a Strategic AccountManager to create and nurture long-term relationships with a designated keyaccount customers. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure customersare satisfied with our services. The ideal candidate will build strongrelationships with your assigned strategic customers. You will be able toidentify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achievemutual satisfaction.
In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp customerneeds and to represent the interest of both the client and the organization. Ifyou have a commercial and/or operational background with an analytical mindsetand knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you.
·Expanding the relationship with thecustomer by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives andadvise on creating profitable processes
·Participate in weekly, monthly orquarterly meetings with internal teams to review customer issues andparticipate in strategic discussions to address customers’ business needs
·Collaborate with cross-functionalteams and assist with identifying opportunities to increase our valueproposition to the customer. Includes working with Solutions teams on revenueexpansion opportunities, new lanes and products
·Build cross-functional relationshipbetween F&A and the client and be the owner of the customer’s P&L whichinvolves warehousing and transportation management
·Prepare regular reports of progressand forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key accountmetrics
·Oversight and scope management ofbusiness after implementation of new business or expansion of current businessactivities by solutions and implementation teams.
·Ensure both the company and clientsadhere to contract terms
What do you need in this job?
·Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain,Business Administration or Economics related field.
·You have relevantworking experience in an operational or commercial role within the Logistics/SupplyChain Management industry
·Excellent organizational skills,detail oriented and self-motivated
·Strong analytical skills and excellentknowledge of MS Office
·Strong communication and interpersonalskills with ability to connect and develop strong internal and externalrelationships
·Experience in a customer facing rolewith proven success and strong negotiation skills
·Ability to manage and participate inmultiple projects and initiatives at once
·Proficient English language skills,both oral and written, other languages are an asset
