Job Description:
The Country Engineering Manager supports UPS's international operations by developing, implementing, and monitoring engineering processes and procedures to achieve business results.
He/She ensures service levels, analyzes current practices, and aligns international operations with company objectives.
This position provides engineering policy and procedure support to senior management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our business in various logistics.
The role demands a strategic outlook for business planning and operation planning, with a keen focus on the planning and the executions.
Key Responsibilities:
Business development and Expansion: Proactively identify and engage potential new logistics, driving service expansion and reinforcing its position as a market leader.
Advanced Customer Management: Establish and nurture strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service strategic account management to meet exceed customer expectations.
Comprehensive operation management: global logistics operations, including outside partner, UPS operation, Air, trucking, collaborating with UPS operation and outside partner, sales team, commercial team to optimize efficiency and reliability.
Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the development and execution of global logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cohesive operations across all regions and local team.
Innovative Process Automation: Work closely with the IT team to identify and implement automation opportunities in logistics process using our software tools, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements :
Engineering degree (favorable)
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of global logistics experience, with a strong background in managing comprehensive logistics operations across multiple regions
Management Experience: Over 3 years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading diverse teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
Account Management: Extensive experience in account management, demonstrating the ability to foster and grow partner relationships effectively.
Leadership qualities: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Monday - Friday, 09:00 to 18:00
