Job Description:
In support of ambitious small business growth in Asia, we are seeking a dynamic and influential Partnership Marketing Assistant Manager , APAC to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will come with solid experience and career background in business development and partnerships. You will have a network with established brands and be excellent in pitching ideas and negotiating winning partnerships.
The Partnership Marketing Assistant Manager, APAC will develop and implement commercial and strategic relationships in accordance with UPS APAC overarching business objectives. He/ she will reach out to recruit potential regional partners, form agreements, and manage the success of those relationships. They will take ownership, hustle, and negotiate while being structured and analytical in his/her approach. In addition they will manage the Alliance Partner program in alignment with country/District to achieve commercial strategic goals.
The main objective of this role would be to recruit new partners, manage the partnerships and alliances for the growth of the company in terms of small business revenue and volume across APAC. In addition this position will support market expansion strategies and right to win Small Business in APAC. The position reports to APAC Small Business Marketing Manager.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
(a) Partnerships
Research organisations that help build relevance and increase UPS’ reach within small business communities
Develop short to long term commercial and brand partnerships for APAC and guide local countries on how to replicate this on a local level
Manage cross functional training (i.e onboarding and compliance requirement ) to ensure UPS policies and guidelines are understood and agreed by the partners.
Cross functional liaison on providing support training and enablement with partners, along with enabling co-selling and co-marketing initiatives.
Develop partner marketing tools and ensure that partner programs meet marketing objectives
Evaluate the marketing performance of partners and recommend improvements
Create partner incentive programs that drive loyalty and increase volume of sales in key partner accounts
Build strategies with local country and District marketing to ensure Alliance Partners are engaged to drive more revenue for the organization
Work with District to identify and analyze prospective partners in countries, and provide support in reviewing and approving local marketing strategy and plans
(b) Small Business Growth
Be responsible for creating and enhancing the AARR strategy (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue) to deliver volume and financial targets
Market expansion strategies (Where to play) – market, consumer and competitor assessments as well as product and services analysis
Market entry scenarios (How to win) – Channel strategies, operating model design, partner evaluation and selection.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, with at least two to three years relevant working experience preferred
Meticulous with strong attention to details, demonstrate good analytical skills, matured and logical thinking, dependable and requires minimum supervision
Clear communicator with an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders
Ability in communication, relationship building, negotiation, and critical thinking
Competent in Microsoft Office Applications
Candidate needs to be based in Singapore
