UPS Program Management - Assistant Manager in Singapore, Singapore


The Program Management Assistant Manager serves as the primary point of contact for multi-product customer accounts and/or manages a team of Program Management support representatives with a portfolio of complex accounts.

She/he ensures service reliability and execution, customer retention and growth, and a positive customer relationship with UPS.

This position ensures she/he or the direct reports provide issue resolution, response tracking compliance, notification of events impacting the client, process improvements, advanced tracking and tracing services, managing service expectations, and administering customer surveys. She/he facilitates performance meetings, manages standard operating procedures (SOPs) and statements of work (SOWs), and assists in identifying opportunities for account penetration.


  • Drive service excellence to meet customerService Level Agreement for business retention and growth

  • Servicemonitoring through daily/weekly reports

  • Drive process change and enhancement with internalcross functions from origin/transit/destination to settle service issues, andmeet customer SLA

  • Provide training and coaching to team on how torespond customer request, generate regular reports in good quality to ensurecustomer satisfaction for assigned accounts

  • Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures(SOP) and periodically audit operations process, ensure OPS fully execution

  • Regular meetings with internal stakeholder suchas Enterprise Account Group and Operations Group for account service issues,problem resolution, or preventive actions initiatives

  • Regular service review with assigned accountsin Region and Country level

Job Requirements

  • Degreeholder in any disciplines

  • Minimum5 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Freight Forwardingindustry with 1 year in a management level capacity

  • Proven track record in managing enterprise accounts with knowledgein projectmanagement or program management

  • Background and knowledge in Contract Logistics is a requirement.

  • Possesseffective communication (both verbal and written)

  • Goodlevel of written and spoken Mandarin or another Asian language is preferred toliaise with internal and/or external stakeholders based across the Asia Pacificregion

  • Strongcustomer facing skills

  • Goodpresentation and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstratestrong numerate and analytical skills

  • Proficientin Microsoft Office applications using Access Excel, Word.

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
