UPS Senior Officer (Human Resources) - (1 year contract) in Singapore, Singapore

The incumbent supports the Region office employee movement administration for APAC Region Office. He/she provides support and daily operations in the areas of Employee Services for Region Office employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Services

  • Administration full spectrum of HR routine administrative tasks for Region Office such as handling employee enquiries pertaining to HR policies & guidelines, insurance benefits related and be able to give HR related guidance and advise to managers and employees.

  • Preparation of employment certification letter, employee’s confirmation letter, letters pertaining to employee movements and coordinate with payroll for the salary changes for Region Office employees timely.

  • Accountable for data accuracy in the HR system and timely update on employees IGEMS records as per approved Payroll and Assignment Change (PAC) and/or change in job code, management hierarchy and etc.

  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation, processing all HR related forms, P-file and updating of Region Office Master log and etc.

  • Administration of pre-confirmation packet for new employees.

  • Administration of E-leave, such as leave entitlements and unpaid leave.

  • Administration of HR policies & guidelines for APAC Region Office

  • Administration of Insurance/ Medical / Hospitalization /Flexible Benefits with external vendor.

  • Administration of processing airport pass application for Region Office employees based in SG.

  • Administration of UPS House Canteen and transportation services and process the renewal on the agreements for these vendors.

  • Process the car park access application for Region Office employees based in UPS House.

  • Responsible to support on key HR focus areas and be the primary key driver to implement and execute related initiatives and deliverables. He/She will support his/her immediate supervisor in adhoc projects, preparation of reports and other administrative tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • General degree or diploma in human resource management.

  • Experience in HR generalist administration background is preferred (preferably in Regional role)

  • Knowledge with Employment Act, local regulations and other HR related legislations is preferred

  • Ability to prioritize work and work in a team setting.

  • Ability to work with confidential information

  • Highly responsive and client focused

  • Skills in MS Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, experience in Peoplesoft is a plus

  • Good written & verbal communication skills.
