UPS Technology Support Officer in Singapore, Singapore

Job Summary

The Technology Support Officer provides quality technical customer support through efficient asset management, timely problem resolution, comprehensive training on new rollouts, and innovative solutions that add value, reduce cost, save time, and increase productivity. He or she provides knowledgeable support of UPS systems to resolve problems quickly and accurately. This position reports to the Technology Service Group (TSG) Supervisor and has to work flexible hours.

Job Duties

  • Serves as the both first (VIP) and second level point of contact for internal customers service requests seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

  • Performs onsite and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques

  • Performs system builds, rebuilds, and updates for hardware and software

  • Performs network and telecom systems deployment and maintenance

  • Responsible to manage assets and equipment Inventory in a timely manner

  • Involves in Corporate Service and Upgrade Projects

  • Involves in Local Projects planning and deployment

  • Conducts TSG Technical Disaster Recovery Procedures

  • Escalates feedback or suggestions by internal & external customers to the appropriate level

  • Able to work flexible hours or shifts

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma/Degree in IT or any relevant field of discipline

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

  • Good Communication Skills and Interpersonal Skills

  • Able to work flexible hours or shifts
