Who are we looking for?
As a member of our enthusiastic Sales Team you will work closely with the marketing team as well as our district sales operation colleagues.
This is Key role in Account Management reporting and supporting the entire sales team on local and district level. This role requires strong analytical and judgment skills, operational-driven mindset in addition to experience working with large sets of data.
What will you be doing?
Coordinates Sales Data Requests and Issues
Collaborates with Business Information and Analysis (BIA) and Information Services to ensure application data is accurate.
Conducts meetings with stakeholders to discuss data findings and to obtain feedback.
Retrieves and Validates Sales Performance Data
Clarifies data requests to ensure the end product meets the requestor’s needs.
Conducts thorough search of data sources (e.g., Data Warehouse [DWH], Enterprise Planning [ESP], Business Information and Analysis [BIA], etc.) to ensure pertinent sales data is captured.
Manipulates retrieved data to ensure reports are presented in a user-friendly format.
Contacts districts and subject matter experts to validate questionable information.
Analyzes Sales Report Data
Reviews data generated from reports to identify discrepancies.
Confirms the accuracy of data with BIA to ensure data integrity is not compromised.
Compares data from previous and current reports to anticipate questions from requestors regarding the validity of data.
Reviews formulas to determine data is accurately captured.
Responds to BD Management Requests
Compiles Small Package reports to deliver volume information to BD management.
Utilizes the Total Enterprise Account Management System to track BD opportunities.
Gathers revenue information to produce corporate revenue and ad hoc reports.
Provides administrative and sales support to assist senior BD management in task completion.
Prepares weekly reports to highlight high-performing retail sectors.
Performs Sales Support Administrative Duties
Acts as the departmental database and Structured Query Language administrator to ensure proper maintenance of BIA applications.
Updates weekly activity reports to ensure accurate documentation of strategic account volume and revenue.
Attends department meetings to support internal communication and provide updates on projects.
Prepares written information to Sales staff to inform them of district, regional, and corporate initiatives.
College / University degree
2+ year of relevant experience
Finance degree / experience is a plus
Experience in ERP systems and business data warehouses
Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Should have solid experience working with pivot tables, look-up functions, and charting tools.
Ability to interface effectively with senior business leaders. Capability to translate complex financial sets of data into meaningful analysis and explanations.
Flexibility to work across multiple time-zones during fast-paced, compact-closing cycles.
Strong organization skills.
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, identify opportunities, and execute improvement projects.
