UPS APAC Compliance & Privacy Supervisor - PH in Philippines


Job Summary:

The APAC Compliance & Privacy Supervisor supports and drives compliance and privacy programs and activities in collaboration with the business units in the country in which the Supervisor is based. He / She is responsible for assisting / managing compliance and privacy tasks as well as monitoring the countries’ efforts towards completion of compliance and privacy risk-mitigation.

Role and Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement anti-corruption control program

  • Support Corporate Compliance Programs and compliance with UPS Policies and Procedures

  • Support and co-facilitate the Country Business Risk and Compliance Committee (BRCC)

  • Assist with Compliance seasonal programs and staff enquiries

  • Conduct Third-Party Due Diligence

  • Monitor Completion of Self-Assessments and Corrective Action Plans

  • Collaborate with Country to drive timely completion of core compliance training modules

  • Assist, manage or lead Ethics Hotline Investigations

  • Support the South District Regulatory Compliance Framework

Data Privacy:

  • Support Global Data Privacy activities and programs

  • Promote awareness for Privacy Impact Awareness (PIA) requirements

  • Manage country data incident response plan and table top drills

  • Assist in conducting gap analysis on state of data protection and privacy readiness in country as compared to local regulations and UPS's global privacy program

  • Work with stakeholders to develop and track corrective action plans

  • Monitor data protection and privacy regulatory developments and risks in country

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance or business management

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience in compliance / audit or related field

  • Good applied knowledge of Privacy requirements and Compliance program areas (Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Anti-Harassment).

  • Relevant Logistics Industry Experience (preferred US MNC Exposure)

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language. Additional language skills are advantageous.

  • Ability and willingness to travel in APAC countries.

  • Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail and ideally experience in Risk Management.

  • High level of enthusiasm and capability to cope with work pressure.

  • Passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
